And you'd better hope that it does, rather than allow itself to be hit by it.

My boots are still damp inside, and they smell like pond ... :|

If the snow ever gets too much ...

How's that for an ordinary commuter bus? I'd get that if I ran a bus company. At least you know that no matter the amount of snow, it will get you to work! :)

My ten year old (blue) Puma sneakers are finally being retired. As you can see they still look OK, since I've mostly used them on grass or astroturf. Still, they're finally beginning to feel the advancing years.

One of the things that prevented me from buying new ones was that the old ones were just perfect for my feet, and I could never seem to find any that were as good. Now, however, I think I may have. :)

10 years? I hope you're not starving.

I had 5 this year. Ok that I lost two to the flooding, still - nowadays my trainers won't stand much. I'm not that heavy.

Your second pair is just like one that I just gave away. I had them for 7-8 months but they just melted with no further ado.

My dad and I re-laid the porch behind the house this spring; ripped up the old planks and put down new ones. Just snapped a quick picture while I was using my camera anyway.

What'd that cost, then? Since you don't have room for a more standard size.
