Bigsister, you know that 'planting stuff at the backyard' is so old people business, no?

I wish I had a backyard to plant my stuff. :)

Yes, I know. And complaining that Bell Peppers are over a $1 EACH is very "Old People-ish" also. I thought I'd stop complaining about the prices of fresh produce in the market and try growing my own. In the old days - During World War, they called back yard vegetable patches "Victory Gardens". I think I'll call mine a break for my pocket book AND my waist line.

I'm going to plant tomatoes, bell peppers and some spices on my back porch at work. I'm very curious to see if these silly upside down planters actually work.
They look very intriguing! I've never seen tomato plants like that 8| I'm growing chili peppers and lemons this year. I nearly killed the chilis yesterday but I managed to save them

My niece Amie and I planted the Upside Down baskets today. I'm afraid I might have broken off to many roots stuffing them through the little hole at the bottom. I also have WAY to much potting soil left over. Now Amie and I have the 'bug' to plant MORE stuff on the big deck behind the shop. Amie suggested that we just drill drainage holes in the bottoms of the empty laundry soap buckets that we have horded all over the building. Considering the fact that we just don't seem to be able to toss them out and actual flower pots are expensive, I'm liking this "Green" / Recycled bucket idea. They'll be in the back of the building, so no one but us will see. I went to the store and bought lots more food type plants. Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Yellow Crookneck Squash, Zucchini, Ocra, Cantaloupe, Sweet Red Onions, Jalapeno and Sweet Banana Peppers, even three kinds of Basil and Oregano. I'll have to take my camera to work tomorrow and photograph our efforts!

Flipped off by a squirrel counts as a slow day? What counts as picking up speed, then? :D

What are the Danish hockey players eating? First they beat Finland, and now the US? :applause:

Is it difficult beating their teams?

If you're Denmark, it normally is. This is kind of like New Zeeland beating first England and then Italy in football.

Speaking of football, does your football team was announced today as well? Brazilian team had just few surprises. I have no idea of who Grafite is, although he seems to play to some European team, Wolfsburg or whatever the name is. :D I'm somewhat curious about this World Cup. I believe we'll have some surprises!

Aren't American Soccer (Football) teams some what like a Jamaican Bobsled team?

Norway beat the Czech Republic. It's being hailed as a major achievement over here.

No, not at all, as the jamaicans don't have where to practice... while you guys just suck at football.

You know, it's funny to think how some of the most widespread foods got created... Pizza is basically left overs on bread, in the oven. And it's yummy :)

Yummy left overs are best things to dream about just so every night! :D

Had ordered myself Zagg shield and leather pouches for friends. Let see how it will turn to be useful.

PS You know that after nine clock pm it's best to only eat a small piece of fish dropped by a lemon? (It's doing good for a brain.)

..or that you should clean your teeth after more than 30 mins after you had drink a fruit juice? (If you do it earlier you're gonna to wash out part of your teeth too)

..or that here is 11pm atm :P
