The old RAM is at 667, and as i understand using a higher frequency won't matter as it will run at the speed of the lowest chipset. I'll just buy a better one once the economic situation stops sucking. I'm guessing next decade or so.

Oh, just found out the problem with my screen. It was settled to have 2 screens at once. So, sometimes, my mouse cursor was at the "other" screen, so the login screen wouldn't show up on my "real" screen.
Actually, I almost laugh after fixing it.
