That almost sounds too.. convenient? That all weaknesses would work out in a way that they can prove beneficial. Would be interesting to see that in action though. Another approach would be that dungeon units are very efficient despite their individual flaws so they would excel in one field but have...

That was a story badly told with half of it missing. The short version of the story is that Sarah went to heal Urgash from his agony which made him strong enough to fast-forward to eclipse(my common sense is tingling) for which he graciously impaled her with his claws. One of them stayed in her that...

More like insufficient budget, poor prioritiy plans and unexpected or overlooked issues comes at the cost of less factios/content.

Re: State of balance in 1.8

Dispite a few remaining issues, I'd say that the balance is pretty good. Problem is not so much the balance of factions but rather how might can compare against a turtling magic hero and necro is infamous for being a turtler :) Magic has many tools to deal with closed formations but might has to bre...

Not gonna happen in H6 as officially confirmed. It has turned out a lot more complicated than expected and messing with the already messed up code with the game is more likely to break the game. I like to think that someone lost his head over that..

Disabling cloud synchronization does let you keep the saves, in fact there is no reason whatsoever to have cloud sync unless you are playing heroes 6 on more than one pcs. But you'd still have the conflux achievements. Have you tried placing uplay or the conflux as safe in the firewall? Perhaps they...

You can reset skills on the very level that you changed your advanced class to tears1/tears2 or blood1/blood2. If you do not use reset then and you level up again you can no longer reset.

Making some faction specific skills/spells, removing or modifying a few from some faction's hero classes, keeping others as common.. That would be a good start. And of course completing the magic trees, water has no soaking spells and earth/light have no decent tier 1-2 blood spells.

H6 can be actually comfortable if you use the new features to your advantage, especially convert and town portal - that also allows you to teleport to forts. They give a good control over the map and can greatly reduce backtracking.

If you update the game to 1.2 those issues will be fixed. Btw the new features, love them or hate them, they are well implemented in the campaigns. For the most part the devs have achieved what they went for though a few tweaks could help. Especially the skill system.

It's not all that exciting I'm afraid :) It simply fixes an issue about your achievements profile regressing when you compared it to another less advanced player.

Not radical enough, how ironic.. The vast majority who dislike the game is exactly because they considered the changes radical. As for identical factions.. seriously? They play so much different from each other, the only thing they have in common is the skill system which could no doubt use an overh...
