Rate movies? But I'm much better at making fun of myself
I thought The Hulk was pretty good.. Although when he said "Hulk smash!" at the end, I was quite surprised there no "Hulk bash" to accompany it

Ok, people, so what shall we do to him now that he doesn't want to open his eyes, so he will not see what's coming.

Anyone seen Max Payne?! Tell me, how can you actually screw up something that consists of like 90% shooting people?! Especially since the Valkyries where a pretty nifty idea... but NO, we got wangst for most of the movie, and then not even 10 minutes of action... gah... if they would have gone the other way the movie might have actually been good.

I watched Max Payne and all I have to say is...what the heck?
I don't know where to begin, it was terrible in so many ways. There is no serious action scene for an hour, no serious dialogues or wit, overcomplicated plot that has nothing to do with the game, no freaking bodycount! Someone even mentioned that hitman had more kills The plot barely makes any sense and once more I can't understand why drastically change the story if you are to make it worse.
No depth, no dream sequence, no serious Lupino showdown, no Vladimir Lem, not even storming the Aesir building or God forbid killing Horne.
The only good part is the good visuals but just about that. If you liked the game avoid, if you didn't play it you may find it decent.

One of the reasons the Max Payne game was such a critical hit was because it pushed forward the boundaries for believable character dialogue - as well as for the wry sense of humour running throughout. How ironic and disappointing then the film sheds these qualities, replacing them with reams of boring exposition that gets bogged down in the run-of-the-mill thriller plot.
This over-plotting also emphasises Max Payne's other huge problem, namely the (relative) lack of actual action, especially early on. It was actually quite insulting that a film adapted from a game that ultimately revolved around stalking through subways and blowing away bad guys in glorious slow-motion with a pump-action shotgun, didn't actually have a proper action scene until an hour into the movie.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

I went to see Quantum of Solace, and I liked it a lot. It just picks up where Casino Royale left you. Main problem with CR was that there wasn't that much action, but in this movie, it's corrected. Some say it's too much action and it's not a Bond movie, I find it a load of crap. The story goes deep enough, and Bond is just on a revengestreek for what happened in the last movie. If you want to go and see this one, make sure you watched CR royale first, even is you saw it already, you might want to go and see it again, I didn't and sometimes it didn't mae sense to me.
All in all, a great movie, worth to see. Great action!

Yeah, there were, but my main problem was that there weren't any big epic action scenes. Sure there were a few good ones, but not as the "old Bond's", with the new one they got that one good again. Especialy the ending, it was epic. Really big *no spoilers attached* and it's really nervewrecking.

Just watching Excalibur. A great, funny old flick, with Nicol Williamson, Helen Mirren, Patrick Stewart, Ciarán Hinds, Gabriel Byrne, Liam Neeson... all wearing tights!

I'm sure y'all already discussed this one but I had to come somewhere to complain! "Catwoman" with Halle Berry?! WTF happened?!
The plot actually seems okay to me but the whole execution of the action sequences sux. And the way she moves isn't to my liking either. Also, Halle really exaggerates this character and I found her utterly annoying. I am aware that the two sides of her personality are very different but still, it doesn't have to be stressed that much imo!
All in all I'd give it a 5/10 cause I did like the plot and found some of the other actors' performance to be superb as always

I heard so many bad things about Catwoman before I even considered seeing it. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case with Daredevil...
YES, for Pete's sake YES! I'll make an "Old movies reviewed by grumpy Milla"-thread! Thanks for inspiring me Angel!

"Catwoman" was an insult to the character portrayed so brilliantly by Michelle Pfeiffer in 1992. It was a turkey. An abysmal attempt at fulfilling the wet-dreams of adolescent Berry fans, which resulted in something which neither employed Berry's acting skills (which she does have), nor her charisma. The movie also failed utterly in recreating the neurotic nature of the character. The only thing left was a pretty woman in a tight suit, saying stupid things. If that was all I wanted, I'd switch on a porn film instead.
