A little frozen elf sent me a very unexpected package in the mail. It came today along with an invitation to come back to the boards.

I'm glad to see so many of the 'old timers' are still here. Just popped in to say

Aah, yes, the ol' system requirements issue... H5 is a very demanding game indeed, and if you ask me, the game doesn't live up to it. A game with such requirements should have much better graphics, I think.

So it's back to the old ones, then - you won't be the only one here not playing H5, I can assure you.

Did you open the present yet? It's not Christmas just yet, you know... :devious:

Aye, but having Happy Holidays matters more :D (Which is closely tied with fact that each day you should have been holiday)

Even better on Christmas, more costumes I think ;)

Yes! Santa Claus has been good to me. The shop is doing VERY well this month. After a 'lack luster' Halloween, we needed it. Sales are always down when Halloween falls in the middle of the week - Up when it falls on a Friday or Saturday - more adult parties! That and TWO of those fly by night places came into town just long enough to suck up the Halloween money and then pack up and leave.

But that's OK! We were swamped with Christmas business. One school play and FOUR Madrical Dinners (People dress like King Arthur's court and sing old Christmas songs while 'serving wenches' bring your food.) Those are always loads of fun for the people who do them and more money in the till for me. :D Our parades were down - which isn't quite so bad because those are A LOT of work and HORRIBLE 'wear and tear' on the costumes walking down the street. (Asphalt does Terrible things to fabric!) But the number of churches doing plays with Angels and Shepherds were way up - so, basically, it all evens out in the end. I've spent the last few weeks doing nothing but LAUNDRY and washing Santa's hair! It's a wierd job, but someone has to do it.

----------------------

As for H5 - I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't play it. (Is that a bad thing? :S ) I really just couldn't deal with listening to 'everyone' talk about how great it was when I couldn't play more than 5 turns on the Demo before it crashed. Then - Life just got seriously complicated. I've bored you all enough already, so I'll shut up.

Happy holdiays and many fond wishes. Since I will be at work this Christmas day, and my family will be miles away, have some warm cheer for me. May all your christmas wishes come true (well except for that conquering the world one, you know who you are) and may you get to spend it with the ones you love. It is a wonderful time full of hope and laughter...it is amazing. Now if only that hope and laughter could last all year, but since it is only so long enjoy it while it lasts. Cheers!
