Wouldn't it actualy be Black River?theLuckyDragon wrote:Pol wrote: I
And the Dark River is actually the river's name meant in the tongue of the inhabitants of the long forgotten city, and it refers only to the colour of the water.

I never heard about this town, probably Daniken ommited it in his stories .... is here any source of relative info, it not looks like I will be able to visit this place in the near future, even if I generally incline to cognizing about such mysteries. (I'm now living near the Celtic's fortification, it's ruined but when you could imagine how it looks....)

No, Dark River is correct. And even more mysterious. Ja?

Would be some phoťos or arťicles, please?

Black Sea anyone? And râul întunecat just sounds strange!theLuckyDragon wrote:It would be, but water can't be black (clean water at least) so I chose "dark" to describe the colour nuance. Plus, it adds mystery to the atmosphere of my "long forgotten city".

@ Pol
According to Ptolemy, that city I'm talking about was situated in the northern part of central Transylvania. But don't even bother about "visiting", unless you're really into solving mysteries; the region isn't very interesting.

"Dark River" in English, "râul negru" in Romanian. The Black Sea is different and I didn't need to use it in my riddle-description. The river, on the other hand, needed "riddling".

Yeah, I usually prefer mine with the regular cheese, and with lots of fried onions and hot peppers. But there are many who swear by the Whiz, that's for sure!Kristo wrote: So which do you prefer? Whiz With or Whiz Without?

Damn, those land names suck... I cannot understand it, why did they rename 'Norway' to 'TiredoftellingpeoplewhereI'mfrom' ? Sure, the old name wasn't the best, but this is to much !Kalah wrote: I'm from the land of TiredoftellingpeoplewhereI'mfrom - a little known country between Whydoyoucare and Noneofyourbusiness.
