Yes we do have sea-access: the Danube Delta and a chunk of land directly south of it (called Dobrogea).

Also, a little correction is needed... I only live 350 km away from ThunderTitan. 600 is the distance from here to the seaside, travelling on the road.

Well it does take about 6 hours to get there at about 80-100 kph. 350 km in a straight line maybe.

350 from me to you, on the railway. I just checked in the Train Book, or whatever it's called in English. ~600 from me to the seaside, on the road (you know our roads...)

Judging by the Wikipedia entry, Odense's population is approximately 8.52 times larger than the population of my town, and Denmark's surface is 7.16 times larger than the surface of the county I live in. Romania, on the other hand, is 5.53 times larger than Denmark.

Walk around the Vatican for a day and then you'll know what a tiny state really is! :D

Why not walk around Andorra or Liechtenstein. Hell, Luxembourg is even possible, or Belgium, the Netherlands, Estland, Letland, Litouwen... Or around all the countries of the former joegaslavic republic...

All the races/cultures in Europe want a land of their own...

Well, I've done that :) That was tiny and very impressive cause the Vatican church takes up most of the Vatican :D They sure know how to fill very little space with very large buildings..

Hey, you know, that's right! The Vatican Museums are really large; put them next to the St. Peter's Basilica* and the rest of the buildings... How do they fit in 0.44 sq km?! :|

*oh, wait, they already are next to each other :D

Maybe because the whole state was created exactly around them? Just a thought.
