Wasn't there a rule against such uses? I.e. safe letters are only assigned when he tells if it was right or not, and that it thus would be two safe letters if both of us guessed wrong?

Wasn't it just after he/she hangs someone the person to posts first gets the safe letter?

Yes, that seems to be what I was trying to say: safe letters after hanging, not before...

Nope, it was OK.

That's how we always do it - fast ( Actually according the rules he should wait until he had got reply, but that wasn't never important here) Only no one, right now, tryied to imply that previous person surely will be hanged

Nope. I quote the rules:

Players can ask for one "safe" letter after each hanging, that safe letter will be spent whether the next letter is wrong or not,

Emphasis mine.

You asked before the hanging, thus your letter won't be safe no matter what
