I enjoyed it, but it had lost some of the sheen of 1, maybe that was intrinsic since it was not "new" anymore, but it just didn't hold my interest the same way, but this did not happen with x-men 2 so not sure if it is that, or it just didn't hold the same appeal

I'm the opposite. I thought Spiderman 2 was excellant. Far surpassed the original. As for X-Men 2, I was disappointed they made it primarily about Wolverine instead of the "X-Men." X-men 3 was even worse in that respect.

Wolvie is great, and maybe the toughest male. Come on though, compair him to say Storm and he suddenly doesn't seem so great :). Or Jean Grey, or Rogue, or Prof X...well you get the picture. Sure he may be able to take down everybody but them and Magneto....and Hugh Jackman does an excellent job capturing the character. I think X-2 was good though because you got to see some of the other lesser known children in the Mansion.

the saddest thing about comparing superheroes is that at the end of the day The Hulk basically defeats all of them :( he even beat my beloved Silver Surfer once .... though not totally!

Hulk smash! Nah Prof X would just put him to sleep or something. Prof isn't perfect, any person who could sneakattack (like nightcrawler) would take him out, and there is Magnetos helmet, but besides Jean as the Pheonix he maybe the strongest there is. If he ever went bad, I seriously don't know if anybody could X him (pardon the pun)... but there are a lot of powerful heroes out there, and they all have their weaknesses. Heck Supes could be taken by batman with just a little itty bitty rock...

again, it is somewhat subjective (just check superhero forums if you doubt me - some people think that juggernaut can beat the hulk??!!!!)

back to the movie thou, yeah, I think Wolvie is great too, that's why I'm stoked he's got his own spin-off movie coming
