Dogma comes a bit over for me.Maybe because Im such an anti christ
ThunderTitan wrote:The fact that it doesn't happen all in the same place takes something away from it, but it's a good movie.
Yup,it sure is.Not as the original, but its still extremelly good.
stefan.urlus wrote:ahhhh, forgot about chasing amy, that was also excellent, have yet to see clerks 2, but from all reports it's pretty good
To be fair, the first part wasnt completelly in the same place either(the roof, the funeral, the video store). Its just that moobys just covers more ground.

Already wiki'd it. You need to be faster.

Anyone seen Ong-Bak?! It's suposed to be made without any wires... impressive considering the few scenes i saw.

Nope .... and not likely to either, just like I'm unlikely to see Fearless (I think that's the title of Jet Li's "last martial arts film".

I saw it. It was pretty entertaining. The only gripe I have is that the English dubbing was among the worst I've ever experienced. Definitely watch the DVD with subtitles.

I watched with homebrewed subtitles... i think i got enough. But i always prefer to understand the original language, there are things you just can't really translate.

Ong-Bak is basically a tongue in cheek look at moralistic action movies. I consider it the most stupidly awesome film ever.

I just saw 'Straw Dogs' and I'd love to hear what anyone thinks about it either way(It does seem to be a love/hate movie). If I had to choose now, I'd say its perhaps the best anti-violence film I've ever seen.
