Oh, I'll pass, that is for sure. But I want to keep my scholarship next semester as well so I need high grades.

What do you mean? If they're acceptable but not too high, you couldn't keep studying anyway?

@Panda: Yes, he can. But then he'd have to pay the costs of tuition on his own (without the scholarship). And that could be costly. :S

Yes, the tuition fee is an issue as well, but it's minor. What I was actually referring to is a sort of extra scholarship the Uni awards students with excellent results. Like a sort of pocket money.

@tLD: Oh ok, I see! :)

Well, in my case, I get an academic exemption in addition to the normal scholarship. Said exemption pays my credits, so I end up having a decent amount of pocket money as well, even after buying books and other college necessities.

It pays to have good grades! :D

Aaahh, that's so fancy. :-D Here, if your family is poor, you receive a "congratulations" from you parents. If you're rich, they give you a car or something. Too few Unis have that sort of program for their students, and they're mostly particular.

It's almost as if they were saying: "Now you have a car. Get a job to use it!"

Taped up my ancle yesterday. Had some pain, swelling etc. Anyway, took the tape off just now. Ouch. Ow. The pain.

Remembered I did the same thing when I twisted my ancle about ten years ago, and on that occasion I shaved my leg. I'm definitely shaving off that hair again tomorrow before I re-tape the leg...

Yeah, got a sister at a university, she pays LOADS for some books and readers. And she only spents like 5 hours a week there, the rest of the time she is studying home.

Hey, if you didn't study hard enough to/didn't think of getting a scholarship to one in another country it's all your fault... i mean you've lived 18 years here before so you should have known how it's like...
