True,it is capitalized.But it is a name for a whole species of a plant.If I was to ban it,I should ban dandelion as well.

Maybe. Dandelion is, however, a plant in some capitalized family. At least that's my guess and limited knowledge after a quick web search.

Anyways. It's no big deal, I'm just trying to get to the bottom of this out of curiosity. No problem if you accept the word.

By proper name I consider names that describe a person,a city,a state,or some landmark(a river,a mountain,etc),a language,etc.However,a descriptive name for multiple persons(like new yorker)I dont consider as a proper name,even if it is capitalized.
