I think the final chapters (Revolt of the Beastmasters and the Sword of Frost) are supposed to come last. Prior to them I'd place the Fiery Moon and the World Tree. The first four episodes I'd place first, but in no particular order of play. Be advised, however, that this is just my perception of things, and I have very little to base it on.

I think Warlords of the Wastelands is first, as it tells how Tarnum got immortal. But after that, I don't know, I haven't played them all.

Warlords of the Wastelands must indeed be played first (it's also one of the easiest), and The Sword of Frost last. I'm not so sure about the other ones -- some of them are very episodic and have no continuity.
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

this is how it should be (and actually how I played following a topic in the old boars):

Heroes Chronicles: Warlords of the Wasteland

Heroes Chronicles: Conquest of the Underworld
Heroes Chronicles: Master of the Elements
Heroes Chronicles: Clash of the Dragons
Heroes Chronicles: The World Tree
Heroes Chronicles: The Fiery Moon
Heroes Chronicles: The Sword of Frost

I belive this is the order in which they appeared:

Warlords of the Wasteland:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After generations of oppression, Tarnum discovers his people's true history
and leads an army of Stronghold troops against their tyrannical masters.
Marching from the arid roughlands of his homeland and the muggy swamps of
the lowlands, he follows and even surpasses the deeds of the legendary
barbarian king who defeated these spellcasters long ago.
Conquest of the Underworld:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

When the soul of Queen Allison's father is kidnapped from Paradise, Tarnum
escorts her through the mindlessly twisting tunnels and endless cursed
grounds of the Underworld. Every step of this epic journey is blocked by a
fiery Inferno or foggy Necropolis from which march demons and undead
determined to make Tarnum a permanent inhabitant of the land of the dead.

Masters of the Elements:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Elemental Lords end ten thousand years of peace and prepare to make
the world their battleground unless Tarnum can overcome his hatred
of magic and learn the spells necessary to build the Conflux town
and defeat them. In order to form an army capable of stopping the destruction
of the world, he'll need to journey through the magic clouds, lucid pools,
rocklands and fiery fields of the elemental planes.
Clash of the Dragons:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Not even the elven armies of the woodland Rampart towns can stand against
the combined forces of Black, Red, Rust, Crystal and Azure dragons led
by the Dragon Queen, Mutare. As the elves retreat into the dense forests
and magic plains, the Immortal Hero, Tarnum, rides forth to battle
this new enemy who threatens to disrupt the balance of power in the realm
and bring the entire world under her deadly claws.

The World Tree:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The World Tree is the essence of life, spreading its vitality to all living
things. Although barbarians imagine it to be a real tree, the World Tree
can be more accurately depicted as the 'living earth', the entire planet.
Normally, the Ancestors protect it from harm, but a cry for help cut suddenly
short warns Tarnum that the entire world is in danger. He soon discovers that
one of the Ancestors, Vorr, has gone insane and seeks to destroy the World Tree.
Vorr has enlisted the help of the Necromancers --who despise all life --
as well as a remote Barbarian tribe, who worship him as a war god, to carry out
the destruction of the World Tree. So, once again Tarnum must lead the creatures
of the Stronghold town to a distant northern mountain range to battle Vorr
and his minions.
The Fiery Moon:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Although Tarnum managed to save the World Tree, the Insane Ancestor, Vorr,
escaped. And the silence of the other Ancestors still worries Tarnum. Have they
forsaken him, or is it something far worse? Even as the Immortal Hero sets out
to find Vorr, a new enemy appears to stand in his way -- Demons.
Soon, Tarnum travels through a magical portal to the homeworld of the Demons
-- the Fiery Moon -- and learns that Vorr has teamed up with these chaotic
creatures. Not only that, but he's imprisoned the other Ancestors here as well.
Tarnum must rescue them first, but once they are safe he plans to destroy Vorr
forever, even if it costs him his soul.

Revolt of the Beastmasters:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The scary king Gryphonheart made the swamppeoples his slaves because
Tarnum, his great Hero defeated them long time ago. Tarnum now
changed the side to the swamps and got the chance to fix it mistake
now. Bringing them back to their countrie needs to defeat the armies
of erathia and the motivation of his own troops.
The Sword of Frost:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Geru the hero of the elfs starts a voyage to find and destroy the
sword of frost even as he got known finding this weapon will destroy
the world. Now Tarnum is needed to stop him but his only help are the
armies of Nighon.

Clash would probably come shortly before SoF, seeing as Mutare was in Clash and she was dead in SoF. Conquest would be before Revolt—Allison was mentioned in Revolt as being the ancestor of Prince Niven, so there would have to be at least a generation between the two. No idea when Elements, Moon or Tree takes place. So:

1. Warlord of the Wasteland
2. Conquest of the Underworld
3. Revolt of the Beastmasters
-Master of the Elements
-World Tree
-Fiery Moon
4. Clash of Dragons
5. Sword of Frost

Heroes Chronicles Warlords of the Wasteland (1.) Before Tarnum became the Immortal Hero, he was a Barbarian who threw off the shackles of his Wizard masters and returned his people to their former greatness. This is his tale, and his downfall.

Heroes Chronicles Conquest of the Underworld (2.) The Ancestors send Tarnum to help Queen Allison rescue the soul of her father from the depths of the Underworld. But the Demons and Undead are the least of his worries when Tarnum faces his past crimes.

Heroes Chronicles Masters of the Elements (3.)Tarnum must face down his own prejudice against magic and become a Wizard if he has any chance of saving the world from the destructive Elemental Lords.

Heroes Chronicles Clash of the Draqons (4.) - When the good Dragons disappear, Tarnum is drawn into an epic battle with Mutare, the Dragon Queen. His greatest struggle, however, will be learning to be human again.

Heroes Chronicles The World Tree (5bon.)Tarnum is drawn to a distant region to save the World Tree, that which gives life to all living things, from the Necromancers. But a far more dangerous enemy waits for the Immortal Hero - an enemy he has no chance of defeating.

Heroes Chronicles The Fiery Moon (6 bon.) The Ancestors have been kidnapped by Vorr, an Ancestor who has gone mad with his power. It is up to Tarnum to rescue the Ancestors and stop Vorr's mad plan to destroy the world

Heroes Chronicles The Final Chapter: Revolt of the Beastmasters (7.) Tarnum was the first to drag the Mudlanders into slavery when he was the Barbarian Tyrant. Now he has the chance to make amends and lead these people to...

Heroes Chronicles - Final Chapter: The Sword of Frost (8.) The Elven Hero, Gelu, sets out to find the arcane Sword of Frost despite an apocalyptic prophecy. Now, the fate of the world depends on Tarnum's ability to rekindle his darkest talents and lead the devious creatures of Nighon against his former friend.

Free ones are located on the fileplanet.com server but in order to use them you will need at least two, ideally three other Heroes Chronicles already bought in US version.

Pol, the problem with that order is that Revolt must happen long before H3:RoE, as Tatalia was an independent nation then, but Clash happens after H3:AB, as Mutare is in it.

So Revolt is out of place. The rest seem OK, though.

this may work even in that way..
Tarnum is an Immortal and he lives a lot of years with the elves before and after Clash..

ThunderTitan :tongue: Actually it's same order like in your previous post, so you are saying like you wasn't being right? ;)

I do not remember the stories exactly as they are very long (even ift I have them all), so I cannot put much more light into this "flaw" - now.

But I could guess that Tatalia was destroyed in the Warlords of the Wasteland, now also Clash of the Dragons match yes? All of these stories happen after AB.

H3 Timeline:
SoD >> RoE >> AB >> Chronicles >> WoG

-----------------------------------------------
The last sentence is in the state of reconsidering by now, maybe that here is a parallel line starting in the H2 time, God, who can keep the stilling eye on immortal?

All of them after AB? I don't know... When I played Warlords of the Wastelands, I had the impression it happened sometime in the distant past, when Bracada didn't exist yet, but only the "wizards of Steelhorn" that the campaign refers to.

That was the order in which they appeared in RL. Chronicles happen over a long time, that's why they made Tarnum immortal. Also note that in Revolt there's a scary king Griphonheart, and after AB Erathia didn't even have a Griphonheart ruler, as Catherine had to abdicate so she could fight Lucifer Kreegan. After that the world didn't last long.
