Re: Ubisoft is looking for Senior Brand Manager [Might & Magic]
To be honest I have no problem if a company like Ubisoft wants to make some coin with their IP even if it deviates from the interest of the core, ancient fan base. As long as it is a good product . If they plan on making a good Dark Messiah kind of game (which is much more appealing to a wider audie...

Re: Ubisoft is looking for Senior Brand Manager [Might & Magic]
Ok this is serious. Ubisoft is going to establish a new team in China for the M&M brand. Besides the prefious job offer you can find others: Level Design/Technical Director https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/company/careers/search/743999799823022-level-design-technical-director-might-magic- Narrative...

Re: Ubisoft is looking for Senior Brand Manager [Might & Magic]
The fact that nobody is talking about the certainty that a new game of the M&M brand is going to be in the making but discussing about some misspelling in the job offer is quite telling of the expectations we all have with this. Personally I'm surprised they talk about AAA game, which in my book...

Another attempt to milk the cow while ripping off M&M brand name... yay!
Seems like the answer from Ubi to JVC Creature Quest (visually at least).

Re: JVC Skype Interview on Matt Chat 366
Just the factor of the time passing makes things more expensive. I have a Sony notebook from 2005. And a Spectrum from 1993. Excellent working condition. VERY expensive. Let me know if you are interested ;) NEW things of course. I don't know how anyone could get to that by reading my whole message.

Re: JVC Skype Interview on Matt Chat 366
Just the factor of the time passing makes things more expensive. Additiionally, H5 and H6 sold quite well if I'm not mistaken (at least under the reasonable expectations of fantasy turn based games nowadays) and they brought a lot of new people on board of the M&M brand. So, even if latest games...

Re: JVC Skype Interview on Matt Chat 366
The quality of the games from Ubi has certainly decreased the value of the ip, but we are probably comparing with the moment in which the value was lowest. 3DO was in bankrupcy and HAD to sell. Besides the value of a gaming ip today I'm afraid is much higher than in 2003 as the potential audience is...

Re: Interview with Jon Van Caneghem
Not really. I wondered if he would be interested to make any game similar to Heroes (or M&M for that matter), not if he would participate in a Heroes/M&M related project, since I give for granted that the second is not going to happen being the franchise in the hands of Ubisoft. And in any c...

Re: Interview with Jon Van Caneghem
I'm sorry to say but I agree with Demilich, this is a pretty shallow promotional interview with little to no interest to M&M fans. Just to note, I'm pointing more to the answers than the questions, though I didn't find them that good either. And he could stop pushing the idea that this has anyth...

Well seems like someone will have to review his informants and check the actual "facts" :p (or should I say "lol"?)

Re: Upcoming Interviews: Send in Your Questions!
JVC. Would you be willing to work on a project similar to Heroes or M&M ever again? If not why not?
Oh and if the answer is positive, have you considered make a kickstarter campaign for that potential project?

Re: Formerly Biweekly News - 4 Dec 16'
It is just you insisting so hard on this "fact" without mentioning any source (most of the time not event mentioning you have some inside information somehow) that makes it look completely made up. But well, I guess that's your style (that and the lols). About me I don't know the source, o...

Re: Kickstart Paul Anthony Romero!
It is a shame that they are not going to make it. It speaks volumes of the state of the community, but to say the truth their campaign is awful. If you've followed kickstarter a bit you know that it is not enough anymore to just present your idea with a sloppy video and have a big name behind (even ...

Rob & Paul Interview
Yes he was part as Red Delicious as far as I know. I always thought he was more of helping hand in the sound department but I guess only Rob and Paul really know (and perhaps any of the old NWC staff I guess). A shame that these kind of stuff is never asked in any interview. I have the feeling that ...

CH MMX: Legacy Review
Agree for the most part, though I would insist more on the technical glitches and lack of performance (because for some players it seemed to be quite a problem)... and despite it all on how much fun and addictive the game is! I must add also that music while not being great, it keeps a good standard...

CH Exclusive: Julien Pirou Q&A
Black Hole imitating Katauri? In what? You say skill tree is Katauri's invention? LOL and LOL again. Frankly I don't see any imitation in H6 development (at least from katauri's King's Bounty), and actually it wouldn't be so bad to borrow some good ideas from that great game. I'm quite confident H6 ...
