I've paid the full retail price for the original game which was still a beta version, not making the same mistake again.

I usually buy all expasnions/addons/DLC if I like a game but I won't do it for a game that was released in Beta version, that would be rewarding them for screwing me over and I won't do that.

On the positive side: I do like the way the game has improved since the new developer has taken over

I don't mind about paying for DLC/Add-ons but for a game that was released in beta?

They should provide it for free and even then they'd still owe an apology to all the people they scammed with this game.

I'd rather have they sell the franchise to a publisher who actually cares about it

I had the same problem with HOMM2 and the sound in the "movies" hardly work as well. When I installed it, it said didn't pass the requirements (I have a high end 1 year old pc) and it even said I didn't have enough memory so that could be the culprit. I also experienced some stuttering and...

The only other games that caught me as the HOMM series (4 excluded ;P ) were Thief 1 and 2
