I've been terribly busy lately, hence my lack of appearance there. I'm looking forward to playing with you lot, though work keeps piling up. :(

Was there a way to manipulate the stacks in Heroes II so you faced one big stack or five small? I remember it in Heroes III but not in part 2.

You mean neutral monster stacks? In that case the answer is no (they always split into 5 stacks).

if possible, then yes
for example if you fight against a group of 23 crusaders, they will be split into five stacks: 5,5,5,4,4

I was telling a friend about hamachi earlier today and when he tried to join the Celestial Heavens network to play it said it was full? Strange! We created a new network to play, but has this ever happened to anyone else?

PS - I love Heroes 2, I'll play anyone if they want!

I think the network fills up, maybe at 14 people, so I have removed myself from the network. I am focusing on heroes v. Maybe when I get bored of it I'll pick up heroes 2 again.

Come on, I want to play someone other than UHH.

A three-person game might also be nice. With two humans and a CPU, the CPU is just a free castle for whoever can rush better. Three humans might actually change the dynamics.

Incredible. I just started to play 4 days ago, and game is still great after all this time! So much nostalgia and great fun. I have the original and expansion. Is this still played on hamachi?

Heroes II is my favorite game of all time, but I rarely get to play against human opponents anymore since so few people play it these days. I would love to play against anyone online. Do people still play via Hamachi, or is there an easier way? I would be up for a game with multiple human players as well. If anyone is interested in playing me, please let me know - you can email me at grmarshall@wm.edu. Hope to hear from someone (or better yet, multiple people)! :)
