Heroes II no carryover troops

Hello,

I'm playing the Roland campaign and on scenario 9 (The final one where Roland joins) I don't seem to have the carryover troops even though I did play that scenario and it shows as a reward.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I have the platinum edition btw so should be fully patched.

Hi.

Never heard of such problem. Have you tried loading 9th map automatic endgame save ?

You're not having any bugs. You're just mistaken. Scenario 9 is not the final scenario. The troops will show up in the one right after.

It's been some time but I've checked again, it's scenario 10 and Roland joined the forces so it's definately the last scenario.
No carryover troops on any of the heroes nor in any of the castles.
This is defintely strange........

And you don't have the Crown either I presume?

The carryover troops will be with Roland.

I've had similar problems stemming from the fact that I had more than one hero at the end of scenario 7, and the carryover troops came from the wrong one. Go back to scenario 7 (You DO have a saved game from there other than the Autosave, don't you?), dismiss all but one of your heroes, and beat the scenario again.

Unfortunately, you're going to have to redo scenario 9 too.

Yes, I remember that bug now.

The good thing is that it's so long ago I played scenario 9 that it won't even feel repetitive
