I can't see a Sylvan army with hunters, druids and treants getting beaten; however it will likely be the treants that will make the difference between the armies after the third round, as every single reasonable enemy of the elves will slaughter hunters and druids first. Treants with rooting is one ...

I wonder if the people here screaming for blood here because Nival tweaked some spells and changed some mechanics have actually heard of Diablo and World of Warcraft. The latter, being the single most popular game of the last ten years, and one that was tested for millions of hours by thousands of p...

I wonder if the developers know the saying "don't fix what ain't broken".. Heroes IV's magic system was the best so far and sadly we are down to a new low after that..

As for Destructive, it's as it always was, great at the begining and crap in the end. But the stuning-like abilities help with that. No it wasn't, actually Disintegrate, Armageddon and the great Hand of Death in HoMM IV were quite good. Yes, Hand of Death was in Death Magic, but it basically was a ...

I'm not sure where you can find it but if you ever do, get Ghengis Khan II from Koei.. It is a brilliant game well worth any money you would pay.

It is easy to put foreign -esp. Japanese- games into the worst dialogue list; but keep in mind that those lines weren't written with English in mind, they might make the perfect one-liners, or may be just plain 'cool' in their intended languages. I know couple people that were ridiculed in some part...

In an industry where even Civilization went 3d, it was just too much to ask Heroes to stay in 2..

Besides, it could have been a catastrophe, like Warcraft III.. At least HoMM retains the lively feeling without targeting 0-6 year olds in the palette selection...

If you are not in America don't get Dell; its technical service is hardly helpful here, I shudder to think what hells you would go thru in case of a problem.. Their 10.1" minis are useful gadgets though... Oh, and if you are patient, you might catch one of their very common discounts where you ...
