I agree with that. In all fairness, the story really isn't that important to the gameplay.

You can't really outguess the AI. I've found it will usually place its units optimally to mine. It's annoying, but it happens.

By the 3rd map no-less. I trudge through the entire Wizard campaign and was one level short of getting the ultimate. Didn't even bother with the others.

Finidan should be shot. Talking in verse gets old really fast.

Just my two cents: Don't bother going for Arcane Omniscience. It's very hard to get levels past 30 in the campaign.

You guys should give Arcanum a try if you haven't already. It pits an old world of magic against the rapid spread of technology. I doubt the barbarians were totally cut out of the universe. Sadly, it's just a manner of time before they put those into the game. Of course, after introducing the ManBearPig faction, Nival would then introduce the Dark ManBearPig faction.

That's what they should put in the snow expansion. The ultimate unit, the Weretaur! A werewolf with the ability to turn into a centaur during a full moon.

I rarely bothered using the creature artifact skill of the wizard, but when I have, it was pretty spiffy. Made my gremlins last a bit longer. But it certianly is annoying when you can't access a town to use it, just like with the Avenger skill.

Knowing Nival's great skills at deception, the Dark Messiah will probably be called Mark Dessiah. Then everyone can be stunned, just like when Raelag turned out to be Agreal.

If I had to guess, the protagonist of Dark Messiah will be some orphan or some random person with a "mysterious past" who discovers the horrible truth that they are the Dark Messiah. It's an example of Occam's razor.

Very well done. I am very impressed by your contribution to those who have longed for a complete manual.

The ending was weak... really weak. I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but the plot twists were a bit obvious.
