Actually thanks for that coverage, we were able to find couple of Linux magicians that helped us porting this to Linux and MacOS.
So yes, you can now play MM on number of different platforms.

There are still many odities in original code, maybe there is some good way to report them? Anyone needs it? For example, I can see that: if (pCharacter->classType == PLAYER_CLASS_KNIGHT) pCharacter->sResMagicBase = 10; knight gets sResMagicBase on start, but this value is never usued in any calcul...

Rendering range is 3 times farther, you can see almost entir map from any point.

What could I/you/him do/fix/add/introduce when you have a complete game with it's engine in opensource? Correct: you can do anything: any features, any compaings, any extensions. Whatever you can imagine.

People hated it for many reasons.
