3.59 is never gonna happen, right? Is any new version going to come out, or should I just give up?

So, I keep telling myself to give up on 3.59; and I keep hoping...

Am I hoping for nothing? ANY evidence at all that anyone on the planet is truly working to finish 3.59?

So, if the rumors are now true (but they definitely are still rumors) they may release Heroes 6 on Steam or Impulse (I greatly prefer Impulse); I may buy Heroes 6 afterall. Yes, I would prefer that they would have NO online DRM; but I do love the Heroes games, they do provide me with a lot of Entert...

As a continuation, I won't buy the ridiculous DRM, which is ridiculous for Ubisoft; because as soon as they get rid of the DRM, I buy a Heroes game, love it or hate it, I'm a buyer; but not with this DRM crapola... For example, I bought the latest Kings Bounty Crossworlds yesterday, with no reviews,...

I'm wondering why there is all this forum talk when UbiSoft is going to use the ridiculous "always connected" DRM....

Are you really going to buy a strategy game that needs to be connected to the internet?

Can anyone actually get excited about Heroes 6 as long as Ubisoft has the 'you must have the internet connected' BS in place? Come on, why should we get excited????

I fell for it.. may have been obvious, but i jumped on the link big time..

I appreciate the update... with the latest Ubisoft policy of requiring internet access probably meaning I won't buy Heroes VI, then I'll be relying on WOG 3.59 to keep me busy over the next few years.

Whats the latest on timing?

I tried turning off music (although thats no fun); it goes longer; eventually crashes on a sound effect; tried without both; goes longer. Running an ASUS Motherboard with RealTec 97 Audio. Not Creative; but has worked fine with XP; Upgraded to Windows 7; now doesn't seem to work. Checked ASUS site; ...

I've installed the soundfix in this forum and I still can only get about10 turns in, then it crashes on a repeating sound; i'm running it in windows 7; i've tried it just in windows 7; as well as in compatibility mode for xp sp3 and xp sp2....

anyone with any suggestions???

Anyone else having this issue. Since I upgraded both of my computers to Windows 7; starting using Homegroups, every time I start a standard multi-player game; everything loads fine... then after the first turn, one of the players always drops....
