Armageddon's Blade was not to destroy the world (i.e. explode the planet or something like that), but rather to help Kreegans compeltely devastate and burn it and conquer it. It is a very powerful artifact, but it shouldn't be overestimated -- while powerful, it's not the instant "end-of-the-wo...

Go to play Heores Chronicles: Sword of Frost. There is a pack of all 8 Chronicles available to buy by 10$ on GoG, if you don't have them. To be honest, it is only stated there that the glacier around Volee, a city in Vori, was formed in the thousand years since the creation of the Sword of Frost. A...

As a highly advanced 'sci-fi' race they should basically be able to mop the floor with the 'fantasy' races of Enroth, both the continent and the world. As I understand it though, the Heroes of Might and Magic VI destroy the Kreegans main base with just a little help from the Ancients and prevent th...

Re: Crag the Marzhin

@JSE Because it was rather a hell of a mess character and story wise, and as in one of the last QaA stated. Bollocks. The fact that Ubisoft's MM Team didn't put in the work to study the storyline of the games is their own problem, not the MM universe's. Yes, there wasn't any all-encompassing story ...

What's ridiculous is that in the Russian version of the game the names were changed to their Western European versions :) Nicolai became Nicolas, Andrei became Andrias, etc.

Celeste was both on high mountains and in the sky. Bracada's religion was the Path of Light and it was its main stronghold, even housing the High Temple of Light. And the Path of Light in itself isn't theistic, although some of its followers do associate it with deities sometimes.

Until they were stopped by Roland and forced to change their MO. They weren't "stopped", all that Roland repelled was a large Kreegan raiding party (lower echelon Kreegans, numerous but dumb and not that strong, being killed off very well by sword & sorcery) attacking Ebenbrook. I thi...

Well, Kreegan forces in the Sweet Water Hive were enough to conquer the planet. The thing is, they wanted to eliminate possible threat to their conquest in the form of the kingdom of Enroth -- the largest and most powerful nation on the planet, which housed things like the Guardian, Control Center ...

It's half-way correct. LoMM mission backstories take place on various MM worlds: Varn, Cron, Xeen, Axeoth, etc.

There is no way to correctly guess Reckoning date There is -- based on Nicolai's age in MM9. He was around 23 (no reason why Tim would be wrong about it, he was the one developing Nicolai's MM9 story) years old, being born in 1155, so it's in the period from late 1177 to early 1178. By the way, Rol...

Did anyone else noticed the Kreegan from MM6 - MM7 were much more different thant those in Homm3? Once again, not much more. Compare their complexion. The legs are virtually identical. The general body (limbs, body complexion, skin tones, etc.) structure is also the same. Glowing eyes, some of them...
