The Hard AI still does some moronic things.

For example, in Agrael's scenario, I had one overland battle where I was attacking the enemy Pit Lords (and other units) with my Cerberi, which had no strong walker backup nearby. The enemy had a fair-sized stack of devils a short distance away, which stood back and did nothing.
