No,a manbearpig! Its half man, half bear, half pig.And during the full moon,it turns into an abomination so horrific that even gazing at it turns you into stone. And it should have snakes instead of hair, and shoot rays from its eyes one gigantic eye positioned on its belly.

Sadly, it's just a manner of time before they put those into the game. Of course, after introducing the ManBearPig faction, Nival would then introduce the Dark ManBearPig faction.

Don't you mean the Weredragontaur? Who turns into a fire-breathing winged centaur by the light of the full moon.

Actually, that may be better. Then the ManBearPig faction could have a Dragon of their own to worship.

And the main difference would be that dark manbearpigs are evil and have longer you know what :devious:

Wait, don't they just worship Al Gore? Serial.

Or does he have a dragon avatar in Ashan?

Any Americans around? How about giving us some Democrat and Republican towns?

Al Gore wouldn't work.. when Nival makes him disguise as someone else, the name would be Go Real, and that would confuse people too much.

Ok, here's how it would turn out. Go Rale would team up with the Demon Sovereign and use the ultimate weapon to wipe out Ashan: GLOBAL WARMING!!! Using sophisticated mirrors placed in space by the space dragons, they would superheat the planet, while sending the Dark ManBearPigs to attack. However, the demon "Dark Messiah" will abandon his evil ways to fight the Demon Soverign and become Mark Dessiah. Of course, the Demon Sovereign would be totally psyched out by this little deception. Mark would then unit the ManBearPigs, Humans, Elves, and Dark Elves for a 2nd assault on the Demon Sovereign to prevent the birth of the Demon Messiah's brother!!!

Yeah, that's pretty lame, but I think it's comparable to the original plot.

People.. I know everything about werewolves.. There are like 100 versions of the story... But you really should NOT take names that serious... Werelord sounds cool to me.. and that's what counts...

Like people care a damn that it says man-lord... they know that werelord is higher than werewolf as lords are always the higher version.

Werewolf - Lycanthrope = WRONG as it;s the same creature... there is no stronger version.

maybe Werwolf - Werebear?? Or Wererat - Werewolf upgrades?

And just a sentence earlier you said that names dont matter.

Why upgrading it at all?Werewolves should be neutrals, and without upgrades,or were end with something even dumber then hell charger.

If so Werebeast-Werewolf would be better, or Beastmaster-Werewolf. Anyway as DL said just Werewolf as neutral without any upg would be the best.

Depend on the lore used. You can always say one of them is more in control of the transformation or something. Or you can use Lycan Lord instead of Werelord (which to my mind sounds like he turns into a lord by the full moon).

How about instead of a werewolf unit why not have a lycanthrope unit that has like 2-3 forms. For example a level 6 unit such as the following

Lycanthrope
Hp - 100
Damage - 15-20
Attack - 20
Defense - 20
Speed - 6
Initiative - 10
Abilities : Wolf Form, Bear Form, Regenerate Mana/Health(only way to regen abilities & health)

Wolf Form - Gains Double Attack, +2 speed/initiative and activateable Roar Ability(drops defense of enemy stacks within 3 tiles of the werewolf).

Bear Form - +12 Defense, +50% spell damage reduction, and activateable Bash Ability(Knocks target back 1 tile).

Then you'd have a super versatile, unique level 6 unit which you could swap

lycanthrope means "wolf man"... werewolf = lycanthrope. If you want to name something that has many shapes, well, Shapeshifter =)

Dopleganger works as well.

But whats the matter what it originally means?A gorgon was the name of the three gorgon sisters,of which medusa was one.Windows originally meant a number of framed glass tiles. So what if lycantrope is used for all wears?
