Got Heroes V friday. I was extremely disappointed to find no editor in the Ltd edition. When I pre-ordered it, right from Ubisoft, the ad read that in order to get the editor one needed to buy the Ltd edition. Plus the Ltd edition required a dvd drive, which I didn't own. All the past Heroes games were made so replayable because of the map editor, I hope there is an editor in the near future and I feel it should be in a free patch!

The editor will be provided with the first patch that is due out sometime before the end of June I believe. If you would have looked around, you would have noticed that there are litterally dozens of topics/posts about the map editor.

Its all a blasted scam.

There is no excuse for the companies not to include the full content for 50 bucks. Instead they lie to us and make up buyable online content or those editions. Any rational person with a moral sense will simply *take* whatever was porpusely left out.

Instead of banning pixelated nipples from 16 year olds who probably have already experienced/seen everything through real life or porn because they are evolutionary and naturally meant to do it, the USA law should focus on this *real* issue. Because this is pure cheating.

Dont get me even in to the lying, hyping etc.

It's not rude to suggest you take a few minutes of looking at the topics on the forum before you post. That's just common etiquette online.

I've also never seen anyone state anywhere that you had to buy the Limited edition to get the editor.

Even though you have looked around, that's not... um... "exact".
Okay, it's "screwed-up" information ;)

Two points:
- The first patch will be released in a few days.
- The editor has nothing to do with the first patch and will be downloadable in summer (june or rather july). For free, of course.

Is the information about the patch coming in few days reliable? I mean should we expect it in this week?
I believe in science and that science can explain everything.
Because God has made it all work in such a beautiful way...

Lmao, i will have some ranting to do if the editor will not be for free.

Im expecting a day when patches will have a price and multiplayer games will have a pay-per-play system. Not to mention that games will come out already with 3 expansions available that, of cource, will have a price.

Haha...

Eventually everything will become pay-to-play with all kinds of microtransaction. Pay 5 bucks for a new creature, 10 bucks for a map pack, pay 20 bucks to play on our server, etc, etc.

Ten years or so in the future it'll probably be standard. Best to keep an old computer and all your old computer games around!

Indeed. No doubt Windows Vista will become required to play new games while not supporting older ones.

This isn't the official heroes of might and magic forum. These people are not employees of ubisoft. They are not here to cater to your every request, listen to your complaints, and put up with your whining. Do not be surprised when they snap at you for failing at search.

On the other hand, we do want people to feel at home, so there's no reason to be rude in the first place either.

It wasn't rude, it was more like an observation. He didn't just snap at him with it, he used it after actualy telling him what he wanted to know.
