Queens and chieftains are stupid to use as well.Imagine queen isabel marching with hundred of something queens :disagree: Captains can pass since you can have lots of them in the army.Lords can pass as well,since in the middle ages a big part of the army were lords.

Tell that to the Irish...

Makes more sense then Warrior. At least you can say that that's what they call the more powerfull strain of Cyclops.

that's why cyclops should be lv 7 so you can't get 200 easily

an army consisting entirely of captains is still weird... there will be no one to take orders :sceptic:

Yeah, because 200 B.Dragons wouln't darken the sky. And i'm also pretty sure that there is only 1 Matriarch per family/clan, so why aren't you complaining about that one.

But Cyclops King doesn't really sound that good anyway.

Who says Im not?Im against all those stupid names.Im against upgrades mostly because of this.Behemot -> ancient behemot.you use a ghost dragon in order to age them?Red dragon -> black dragon.So if I repaint my car it will become faster? :disagree:

that's why there should be random upgrades - only those that makes sense

e.g. most of the human ones

EDIT: come to think of it maybe upgrades should be a human specialty instead of trainig, training don't make too much sense.

Now that is an excelent idea.But that would mean that humans would be different from other towns,and we dont want that,now do we?

every town should be different, they don't even have to have the same number of creatures as long as the game is balanced

also i want to see 1000hp titans!

Well for most of the cases. Really the chaotic creature line would be a nice feature in HoMM VI, but heck, that's not HoMM III so...

I just can think of Heroes without upgrades, it's a kind of symbol for me, nevertheless, although they weren't any in HI and H4, I like to play those games and the fact there aren't any upgrades does not stop me from playing them :D

PS: And yeah, Blaspheme, leave the dwarves alone :D

And the point TT and DL are makign is that in Heroes the upgrades are pointless as the upgrades are allways better, so they are no brainers. You just upgrade your creatures. The thing we get in return are all sort of stupid names. :disagree:

That's why upgrades are pointless ;)

That's why upgrades are pointless ;)
Not just because of that,but because they require only money.If there was a need for some battle expirience for a creature to upgrade,some stupid names could pass.But even then,chaotic upgrades would be much better(something like in disciples).
