No, but when I tried, absolutely no castles showed up. The resources for defining towns other than Havens or Infernos did not come with the Demo, as far as I can tell. The creatures and Heroes, did however.

Edit: to clarify, you can't have a Necro or Sylvan Town, but you can have a Necro or Sylvan hero and even give them Necro or Sylvan (or Academy or Dungeon) troops.

Further good news . . . when I played as the Haven (Elaine the Peasant specialist as my main hero), by the time I got to the Southern gold mine above ground, the Inferno had already flagged it! It may or may not be a magnificent AI, but it will at least flag mines and explore!

but I found it a little below where you change human/computer playability.
Would it be possible to play the Map in Hotseat Mode with two human player?
Has someone tested?

I'd have to figure out how to enable hotseat in the Menu, first . . . :(

And you'd probably want to change the starting buildings of the towns( not to mention the starting creatures of the Haven) to make it a good Hotseat Map.

there was this one mod for the beta that put hotseat in the menu. maybe you could base it off of that.

You'd be a lot more intelligent a conversationlist if you were actually interested in discussing Heroes 5, but you seem to have no particular inclinations in that direction. We're all guilty of that now and then, but the number of your posts makes your fault proportionately larger.

That being said, the Haven player starts with a full Castle and an Archangel on the Falcon's Reach map. If you're looking for a legitimate competition, the number of prebuilt-buildings and the troops will need to be standardized.

On another note, I started the map with Markal (Necromancer Campaign hero, neutral undead automatically join). I can already tell that the H5 Necromancer campaign is going to be as much fun as the Peasant Rebellion map of H2.

And mine was arrogant irony. Hence the lack of a smiley face. But full apolgies. And on a more serious note, though, a great deal of your posts here don't really relate to Heroes 5 -- they relate to Heroes 4 and how great its methods and implementation were.

At any rate, there's no dice yet on hotseat multiplayer -- I was able to enable the button, but when you click it, nothing happens.

But it didn't discuss H5, so BT is right.

We're not the official site, and diskussions about mods and such will be allowed as long as they're safe...

No, I mean as long as it doesn't mess up your computer. Though I can see how messing with certain people's ability to spam at this forum could be a good thing...
