Yes, it is. You can have dragons and play with dungeon faction. Beside that, i like the history (SoD).

Isn't it a bit too expensive?

How long is that expansion that they are charging the same amount for it as for the full HoMM VI game?!

How many maps are there in this expansion?
And from what I understand, there are still a lot of bugs with it...

Yes. A bit expensive.
But i see this as a long term investment. Heroes 5 only became good after the 2nd expansion. I see potential in this one, more than HoMM 5...
