a fight in an intro? that is one that is done very well in this intro FF VIII skip to about 3:55 for the start of the intro, if you're not interested in the credits, it's a decent res vid

I wouldn't bet on that being the SC2 intro, D2 had an alt preview intro before it was released.

I like the SpellForce 1 Order of Dawn intro. (this is just my opinion, maybe you hate it :D)

Here you go: Spellforce.

And here's one for Lost Odyssey.

Another good one: Baldur's Gate.

Just in a posting mood: Theme Hospital and Curse of Moneky Island. That's not the intro to Curse of Monkey Island, but it's great.

Drove me nuts. I couldn't keep up with it at later stages of the game but it certainly had its moments.

Oh I know, it was one of my first games. Only Dr.Farnsworth could keep up with the pace there ;)

I was never that keen on the BG intros .... the games were brilliant, the intros not so much for me

I love this one. Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic Intro. Queen Julia's speech kinda reminds Galadriel in the beginning of lotr. That game had the beautiful addition of the shadow realm, the mood it conveys is awe-inspiring.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.
