Just like my main character, the level 20 odd monk?? awe-inspiring saving throws and an additional 10% magic resistance, and immunity to +1 weapons and below?!!! thanks to something in BG2, won't spoil it for anyone still to get there!

Bah,monks are nothing compared to mages. Its shame really that these games cant be dueled in MP.One big tournament would put the master on his rightfull throne.

well, past about level 15 anyway, they're pretty ordinary before that .... my monk now is a killing machine, massive damage (has a Girdle of Frost Giant Strength, Gauntlets of Crushing, Pale Green Ioun Stone) and hits a lot

I put him alone against a rather well known character (to BG1 players) at the end of BG2, didn't get hit and was doing upto about 37 damage per hit! with fists!!

Pah .... you mages, and your puny magiks!!! My mage also does some good damage, but it's just cool seeing the monk go unarmoured and unarmed toe to toe with a guy fully plated and witha big ass sword and destroy him .... me like, is nice

Me
Power Word Kill
Enchantment (Compulsion) [Death, Mind-Affecting]
Level: Sor/Wiz 9, War 9
Components: V
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Target: One living creature with 100 hp or less
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes

You utter a single word of power that instantly kills one creature of your choice, whether the creature can hear the word or not. Any creature that currently has 101 or more hit points is unaffected by power word kill.

Power words are capped by HP,and thats not what I had in mind. However,I had in mind horid wilthing and,my favourite, the wail of the banshee.First time I encountered the spell was when I fought a lich in icewind dale.Half of my 15 level characters died from it.In NWN I used it against the party that you fight in hell(monk is among them),and killed almost all.And lets not pull epic spells here

I put on the expansion and went over to Durgal's Tower... I'll see about getting a screenshot of it; it's really great.

it's a bit of a pain to install though, at least I thought so, five cd's for the lot, and they always seem to install so slowly! go the bit torrent route, as long as it be legal
