well elves are all skinny and quick and nimble have oval faces and wierd eyes supposedly, so i would think exactly the opposite, that the new one fits well while the old one was out of place.

No, they stole the old one from the WH Elves, and they came to take it back. Not having any choice in the matter they had to spray-paint some alien bug in tree colors and put some leaves on it.

It's definetely a matter of taste and opinion. I like the beta Treant much better than the one that is in the game. It has lots of character and looks like a really mean piece of wood!

Anyhow, cool drawing.

I don't actually mind either the beta one or the main game one .... it's a decent model as far as I am concerned

As usual, Nival "refined" the beta Treant to death. They ruined a really great piece of art.
