Maps and Mods for the Week-End

Unread postby Angelspit » 23 Feb 2007, 20:27

<li><a href="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/search ... =search">A Death Knight's Journey</a> is finkelll's new map (H5: Std), an extra-large with no underground about the leader of the Death Knights and his quest for revenge. This is the final update the version 0.2 that has been around for some time.

<li><a href="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/search ... Warfare</a> by Haaki (H3: SoD) is a huge map for eight players with a lot of exploration. With various side-quests, the map offers some replayability, and is a good opportunity to revisit the old classic.

<li><a href="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/search ... breaker</a< by Vlaad (H5: HoF) is a small RPG map from one of the winners of the Equilibris map contest and author of <i>Ghosts of the Past</i>. "As a child Wyngaal enjoyed the legend of Stonebreaker, a vessel which sailed on land. Years later, the adventurous elf and his fellowship are determined to find the missing ship!" The map is also available from <a href="/http://cartographer.ucoz.com/">Vlaad's new Web site</a>.

<li>The <a href="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/527">Maximum Number of Hero Mod</a> is a simple mod that limits the number of enemy hero to help reduce the length of the computer's turns. The mod works with patch 2.1.

I just did up a batch of L/XL maps from maps4heroes. Most aren't here at CH. I have edited them for HOF and eliminated teams, so they can be played solo. I also enabled all the heroes to add a little spice. Is there any interest in these?
Before you criticize someone, first walk a mile in their shoes. If they get mad, you'll be a mile away. And you'll have their shoes.

Haven't played it. I guess I'm a little tired of Necro-revenge maps. Oops, here comes another one from Myythryyn.
