Ghosts of the Past Continues
Vlaad sends three more pages of his Ghosts of the Past series in time for the new week. This time, a famous member of the community is featured. The first person to correctly identify that person gets a cookie (of the computer kind, sorry!).

Find the other pages, as well as the other CH comics, here. In other comic book news, Vlaad tells me that Olivier Ledroit (the author of Heroes V concept art) is going to be the guest star of this year's Comic Convention in Belgrade. Fans who are in the area in late September might want to check that out.

Ghosts of the Past Continues
For some odd reason, I can't see the name. Or even remember reading these messages. But I am oddly disturbed ...
Before you criticize someone, first walk a mile in their shoes. If they get mad, you'll be a mile away. And you'll have their shoes.
Ghosts of the Past Continues
Even though I've never been much into comics (er, until now anyway), it's quite an honour to be included in yours, Vlaad! Thanks for drawing on my wizardly qualities.
BTW, there's a brand of theatres here in Canada called "Silver City"--perhaps there's a connection...

GELU!!! *tackle-hug*
…Oh, hi Fnord. How has the weather in the Silver Cities been? Missing the snow much?
Vlaad, your work is excellent. I’m looking forward to the next installment. Question, is this a long term project or a short-term one? I mean, will this story be continuing for only a few months, or do you have more far-reaching plans than that?
All right, analysis time:
Wow, the Ashan armies must be in really sorry shape if the advice Gelu is giving them is so basic as ‘use better weapons’ and ‘wear camouflage’. Guess that's why they're low-level units. (I really like the pose Gelu has in that first panel though. And I noticed he let his hair grow out.)
One can easily recognize all three heroes, and the Sharpshooter bow and Armageddon’s Blade (?!?! At least, I don’t know of any other bird-hilted blades) are fairly distinct as well; good work. The one target being blurred is a bit odd, though, and it looks like there were supposed to be grass blades in the big tall panel. Was that done for a reason? Also, the sun in the last panel provides a good contrast with the Undead, nice touch.
Next page:
The dialogue on this page was a bit disjointed, it took a few times reading it before it made decent sense. I also think you went a little overboard on the shadows in that second panel, it makes the speaker hard to recognize. Not much else to say here.
Last page:
I like that you gave the elephant its trail. Fnord’s cloak seems to have turned into a collar in the last panel though.

Someone must have used a True Ressurect spell, seeing as there were no remains.Kareeah Indaga wrote:GELU!!! *tackle-hug*
You know, i never did really like that guy. I was rather glad that he's the one that went BOOM. Did love the Sharpshooters though.

No idea really. I can tell you the first chapter ends with a cliffhanger though, which definitely leaves some space for a sequel.Question, is this a long term project or a short-term one? I mean, will this story be continuing for only a few months, or do you have more far-reaching plans than that?
Gelu is actually upgrading Hunters and Archers of H5 into Sharpshooters of H3.All right, analysis time:

Yeah, long hair is popular in Ashan at the moment. So are pointy hats, according to Fnord.(I really like the pose Gelu has in that first panel though. And I noticed he let his hair grow out.)
Right! But no more spoilers! One can easily recognize all three heroes, and the Sharpshooter bow and Armageddon’s Blade (?!?! At least, I don’t know of any other bird-hilted blades) are fairly distinct as well; good work.
Yeah. It's in the distance. Seriously though, it was obscuring Gelu so I decided to blur it. Perhaps I should have completely deleted it. Anyway, I hate page 7. It's awful. The one target being blurred is a bit odd, though,
Yeah. The grass is white, though.... and it looks like there were supposed to be grass blades in the big tall panel. Was that done for a reason?
Thanks. Also, the sun in the last panel provides a good contrast with the Undead, nice touch.
Really? I thought I should have disjoint it even further. I guess I'm a big Frank Miller fan.Next page:

True, but it was done on purpose - I needed that grim'n'gritty feeling.I also think you went a little overboard on the shadows in that second panel, it makes the speaker hard to recognize.
Um... it's a... magic cloak... of... transformation! Yeah, that's it!Last page:

*sigh*
Damn! I swear it was there in pencil! LOL I must have forgotten to ink it though!
