A Public Offer to the Celestial Heavens MM Community

I am not a candidate for this 'apprenticeship', but I would be delighted if any one or two people out there were, and we the MM community actually wound up with useable mods.

I have a question - Is there any chance of a legal 'cease and desist' derailing this idea, or is the MM intellectual property public domain?

I would hate to see anybody spending hours upon hours of time on the project, only to get the dreaded 'cease and desist' from Ubisoft or whoever owns rights to the franchise.

MM = public domain.

You are allowed to make any MM based game.

However your not allowed to call your project Might and Magic 10
or Might and Magic 11.

Understand?
