I can't play soundtack

Hello again,
MM8 is perfectly running but soundtracks don't play.
I'Ve installed monk's patches
Is there a way to solve this problem
The music of MM series are important part of these games i think

I may be able to help you -

I had this same problem when running MM 6, 7, and 8 in Windows XP.

Run the program from your DVD or CD/DVD writer drive instead of your CD drive. I got the music to play this way.

Why the DVD drive works for the music, and the CD drive doesn't, I have no idea.
