MM3 patch for awards

I have heard from others that there is a patch for might and magic III that lets your party get the two awards that don't show up in game when they should (pearls to pirate queen and greek brothers visited). I've looked for this for a while with no results. is it a real thing? If not, does anyone know how to change the game so you can get them to show up?
