How to expand Harmondale Castle to final full upgrade (after dvarwes upgrade)? What is the "trigger" - mission?

Quests given in Castle Lambent or Castle Gloaming.

I understand, but after Light magic skill - is Light magic necessary/required?

Once you complete the quest, you get access to Light Magic and your castle receives the 2nd floor. I don't really follow your question...

There will be first quest of yours path - in Light it is "Walls of Mist" (or any similar, sorry). At Dark Path you must be a killer, but it will be very
siimpliest task. Now (18-19 Jan) all Russia celebrates "Winter" holiday (it's not concerned work - everybody works fool days) - "Christmas Frozenz" - and whether it ours - I work on about -12C but now is -18C!
