They walk up that really large staircase? *shrug* don't have a clue. As for Artificer the skill is ok, but very resource intensive. Sometimes you can't use until after everything is built...if you survive that long.

I think the same thing or it would be overpowered.

master of the elements is easily one of the most useful specializations. But I think it depnds not only on hero level, but also on the stacks hp or something like that...:)

TT is right. Most heroes starts with one other skill and an ability, though there are as of now exceptions to that rule.

As far as I can tell all races start with their Unique skills.

Unique Skill? I suppose this would be ranked with the 'primary skills' like defence and logistics, though only wizards could access it. Does this mean that all wizards start out with Artificer as one of their skills, or do they have to encounter it later, with the (rather small, but still present) chance of never getting it?

I'm guessing the Uniqe Abilities would be associated directly with the Uniqe skill (like 'secondary skills').

The Specializations appear to be preset on each hero, with learning different ones being impossible.

Is it just me, or could Master of Elements be easily exploited? I don't know how many elementals are summoned at any given hero level, of course, but if a stack of 1 gremlin is replaced by 20 elementals...well, you get the picture.
