A new youtube video shows a roundtable discussion with some Ubisoft people, among others Erwan le Breton. The video is 53 minutes (!) long, so I recommend that you listen to it like a radio program: get a cup of tea and run it in the background while doing something else.

Erwan talks about Heroes VI from about 6:30, if you'd like to skip ahead. Particularly, he mentions the online experience and desire to involve the Community. Also check his statements at 14:30, where he reiterates their desires to keep players online by giving them "miles" (bonus (dynasty) points) from playing online ... which is fine, but I wonder if he really means that they will continue their online support for the ten to twenty years he outlines.

Erwan underlines the importance of the Community; that the game is a "co-venture" between Ubisoft and the fans. The feedback of the fans is not only responsible for the release date delays but also actual game contents.
