In what is the strangest announcement I have seen in a while, developer Omegame said that their menu authoring software is being used by Ubisoft for Elements, the Xbox 360 version of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. "Menus Master allows you to author any game user interfaces like 2D and 3D front-ends, in-game UIs and heads-up displays." You can see the results on the right, although I cannot see how this is an improvement over the PC interface. Perhaps the Source engine menus could not be ported to the console.

Note for the gaming industry: I can write damn good error messages and I will license them for cheap. I'm waiting for your phone call.
