• The Might and Magic site now shows pictures of the Dark Messiah booth at the Penny Arcade Expo (a.k.a. PAX).
  • The official fan site includes a high-resolution version of the Dark Messiah boxshot artwork that you can use as a wallpaper. A bunch of missions are ending soon, so hurry up if you want to snag some prizes.
  • GameDaily has a cool preview of the multiplayer portion of the game. The introduction is some fiction based lousely on the events in the game:

"His bloody boot kicks fragments of rubble from the decaying fortress. He follows the path of the debris as it plummets to the ground and shatters into nothingness. The Warrior's scarred, weathered right hand flexes instinctively around the hilt of his blade as haunting memories flood through him like a shot of mead. The soon-to-be arthritic fingers of his left-hand wrap loosely around his shield; one he has carried with him for much longer then he cares to remember. Stagnant, bulbous clouds gather menacingly to the West. Yet, somehow... the sun's rays slice through them."

  • Last but not least, the open beta test appears to be open to everyone now. Visit GameSpot and follow the instructions there. You need to have Steam installed; it's free, and you will need to do it anyway if you want to play the retail version of the game. There are a lot of players online waiting for you, but expect some to hear some bad language and rude comments.
