There is a follow-up story on GameIndustry.biz about the hostile actions that Electronic Arts is taking against Ubisoft. A Vivendi Universal representative said there was no discussion with Ubisoft regarding a potential cooperation between the two companies: "In view of the rumors reported in the press, Vivendi Universal denies that any negotiations are taking place concerning the takeover of Ubisoft." Elsewhere, IGN reports that Infogrames CEO Bruce Bonnell told Reuters that his company might help Ubisoft in its battle against EA: ""When Ubi Soft has defined the limits within which it is prepared to work, they know we are ready to listen." Infogrames, one of Ubisoft rivals, does not wish to become the last European video game publisher.
