Good news to those who have long been waiting for mirrored objects for H4.
We're pleased to share with you, a beta version of the H4 Object Package, fully compatible with both WoW version and Equilibris mod. (Std. and TGS versions remains to be tested).

The H4 Objects Package v.0.55 contains mirrored versions of ALL Creature Banks and Creature Dwellings, complete with altered shadows and highlights, working animations as well as adjusted flag positions and entrances. Worth mentioning is the 3 versions of the previously unfinished Magic Lamp (creature bank).
Also included are all objects from Equilibris 3.51 and 3.55, fully compatible with non Equilibris mod.
Adding objects made by Radmutant69 and Mirage, the current package contains no less than 1141 new objects, ranging from mirrored adventure objects to a large amount of decoratives and even new terrain types.
Ready made aop files (both for Equi editor and WoW) are included, meaning all of the objects have been placed in the editor's palette, along with maps that displays the many new objects.
Planned updates will include:
- Mirrored Quest Huts along with additional Quest Huts.
- Mirrored Movement Modifiers.
- Mirrored Misc. Adventure objects.
- Mirrored Power Ups.
- Additional decorative objects.
- Previously unused dwellings: Sea Monster Lair, Mermaid Sanctuary and Mega Dragon Lair.
- Hero Portrait bank, for editing with the Equilibris FaceTool.
- Creature Hero sprites (by NimoStar) allowing for any hero to appear as any creature both in combat and on the adventure map.
Feel free to report bugs like bad highlights, shadows, animation speed, flag position, entrance point, passability info, badly centered images, glitches etc

Do you still play the latest Heroes game (at least from time to time)? Have you ever wanted to try Heroes 7 but you gave it up because of hundreds of annoying bugs? Would you like to see H7 improved?
If you answer "yes" to any of the questions above, you might have already heard about the Unofficial Community Patch (UCP), the largest bugfixing patch for Might & Magic: Heroes 7, released in December 2017.
This time, it returns with dozens of new fixes and improvements, with the version 1.1 released on September 8th.
Furthermore, it brings more than 20 brand new abilities to the game, so the combats are even more exciting than before. You can also enjoy the extended hero pool, as well many other improvements.
For the first time, you can choose between the full and simplified mod version.

If you loved old CRPG and always craved for chance to once create your own mission(s) you are now staying possibly just one step ahead. David Walters created powerful tool to achieve that. You can easily design your level, like with squared paper and pencil, import your textures, place trapes and creatures, quick check with visualisation as you are walking by dungeon and export teasers, with all the traps just invisible for any beholder.
Supported games are Might and Magic I-III, Ultima 1, Eye of the Beholder and some of the Wizardry - thus DOS only. The tool doesn't come as a free, you must buy either Gamer or Pro license, with the latest having it all.
Check Grid Carthographer on its homepage or Twitter. To compare editions take a look here, tool has also intensive Scripting Manual and is available for Windows, MacOS and Linux, see minimal requirements down there.

Almost two long years have passed since the official end of H7 development, which makes the situation around it clear: There is no chance we would get any more add-ons... in the official way at least.
Since that critical moment, we've been working on our Wryn Pendragon: Umbramancer Project. Finally, here comes the first Open BETA version, launched on August 24th.
What can you be eagerly anticipating every single moment during the upcoming three weeks before that Day D comes?
- Brand new Xel faction with its own town, creatures and heroes
- Over 30 new creatures including the return of powerful dreaded bosses
- Special game mechanics: Alchemy skill enabling you to create your own potions
- Specially developed Dynamic Weather System, making every combat different and challenging
- Three singleplayer campaigns, set in a brand new world Mondalar

Might&Magic: Elemental Guardians global launch date is over and game is now officially live. If you have mobile phone with either iOS or Android you can now make your own impression. Let to say, finally.
In the game you advance, collect soulstones and summon your creatures for 'epic' 5v5 players fights. There's in-game chat, to support your guild mates. The game is free but your are not limited to buy as much bonus packages as you wish, so you can become quite a spender, take it like a warning, you should not right now.
Preferably built for tablets, with use of 3D graphics, taking its toll from your phone performance.
The game doesn't bear any resemblance to classic Might&Magic titles and merely it's a new addition to their new Ubisoft family, like previous M&M: Showdown. If you remember our previous news, you now know that it took more than a year.

No, don't ask me how is with China market this time - I just don't happen to know. The developer is Ubisoft Barcelona. The another question, why they felt that is necessar to change a game icon from peaceful to grr, .tack!, seems to be to support the hype.

The developers of Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Succession Wars modification project have just presented a trailer of the upcoming release.

Although the earlier builds of the mod had to be installed as ERA II portable mods, for the upcoming v0.8 release the developers tease a brand new "install-and-play" feature, which is going to make life much easier. The mod is also compatible with HDmod, even if it doesn't support HD+ for now
Currently, the mod is in the final stage of closed beta testing.
The Mod is tuned for Heroes II. like units, interface and spells. It also comes with its own map editor and converted maps, to illustrate, see the images below, click on "Read more..". As for the lineup, graphic of a new creatures is going to be yet even more improved.

On heroes3wog.net they are organizing map contest. If you enjoy making Heroes3 maps, either classical H3C or HoTA, why not to participate in?
The contest will run till the end of May (31.5. at 12:00). All submitted maps must be in english langugage. Only S sized maps (36x36) are allowed and without underground.
After contest all received maps will be made available to download.
The best piece at the end. The first price is Ultimate General: Civil War + 1 random Steam game, the second is "Where The Water Taste Like Wine" + 1 random Steam game, the third is Ash of Gods: Redemption + 1 random Steam game, the fourth is Nantucket +1 random Steam game, the fifth is Spellforce 3 and the six is Myster Strategy Game. All of the prices were given by gaming portal GoG.com

George Almond, Chief Concept Artist of Heroes of Might & Magic III. and IV. is looking for a new job, as full time game artist. And per chance you shouldn't miss an opportunity - ok, if you are a game developer, to hire him, of course - to see his portfolio from good old Might & Magic times on artstation.com.
I much hope to see his art again in some Fantasy or Cyber Punk game, now it's perfect period of time to make it happen.

If you are following "AI project for Heroes from Quantomas", you have a spark of hope that it may go public this year. Probably just for public testing. Nothing was promised but you can see that possibility between the lines.
This is a chance for Ubisoft, which shouldn't be missed. Just I would add, GoG would do that..
We are still awaiting continuation of "Interview with Tim Lang", there may be a bigger time delay, but all parts are already recorded, as confirmed by Super Goober here.

In Poland there will be regular music festival "The Symphony of Heroes", where will be played three symphonic suites by NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra from Heroes II. - IV. by mere 80 musicians. Date to note in your calendar is 26.10.2018 15-17 hour. You can already reserve the tickets.
And one more return to the Poland, seems that Creature Quest is not the only with that concept, one man started "Heroless III. Comic Adventures". There's one strip yet.
