Under "Second Leg": The enemy will in fact go through the gates if they have found the appropriate Border Guard Tent. If you hit the Haven town before they discover the tent, and can keep them away from the tent for the rest of the game, you will have a less stressful time. Otherwise, without Town Portal and Advanced Earth Magic, this can be a stressful game where you lose castles while exploring.

Unlike the previous maps where the enemy starts with many castles, this one is doable on the default difficulty as the castles are separated initially, so the AI cannot consolidate stacks against you early in the game.

Enemy heroes also have ridiculous spell power (like 250-point Lightning Bolts) and artifacts. Annoying.
