I suppose it's not feasible to use the Heroes V size descriptions in the database, but would it be possible to use them in the announcements on the front page? When I see a 'large' map, I wonder whether it will be 'big' or 'very big'. Thanks.

Well, I just want to note that in my reviews, I still use the small / medium / large / huge labels. For HV, they correspond this way:

Small = Tiny or normal
Medium = Big
Large = Very Big
Huge = Too Big For You

QD,

The surface pic for the new map Isles of Wonder is a screenshot, not a minimap.

It is also not 'large' but 'medium' (big).

I don't post the new maps - I only submit reviews for the ones I play.

(ditto on the size comment)

BTW, you can edit your post to add onto it without double-posting.

Meows is handling map posts. I asked her about the newest minimap, and make the correction to the map size.

Hi again. Sorry to be a pain, but 'Ashes and Sands' has an underground, but it is not shown. Also searching for L maps brings up most of the XL maps as well. And as usual, some of the L maps are actually M.

If I could get a listing of the database, I'll go through it and verify the map sizes so we can get this straightened out.

(And QD, do we really need 'Huge' in addition to 'XL' and 'Too Big for You'?)

This is a throwback to H2, where the in-game labels for map size were S, M, L, and H. I've kept the same notation through all heroes incarnations. I think the H2 editor might have even used "extra large," but I am not certain (It has been a LONG time since I fired up H2)

A friend and I have been working for months on an "impossible size" map in H5 TOE. I was hoping that the database would post the size "impossible" instead of extra large for this map. It is alienating to most people who read the database and see extra large when it is really an impossible sized map. Thank you if anyone is out there. And thank you CH for keeping the spirit with even the oldest heroes games.

Why English?

I have 5 maps in Drachenwald eingetellt, davon 3 in akzeptabler Bewertung.

I won`t no money but it`s would this Forum bereichern.

Of cource, our Forum may Quality not Quantität.

I don`t understand this.

Its only a Game and when everyone Quatsch hereinstellt dann kanns immer noch gelöscht werden vom Administrator.

I have a map to submit. I have played and tested myself and everything works fine. What are the criteria for map testers? Does it have to be someone from celestialheavens or just a friend?
Hats off to all contributors, in all shapes and sizes. Keep up the good work.

We're not here all the time. If nobody answers you after two minutes, that might mean that we're not online at the moment.

What do you need? What is your specific problem?

Yes; it was lost in the system or something. We're on it now, and we'll get hold of some screenshots and add it to the database asap.

i am very happy to see my map posted now...but a question...why when you look at the info..does it say none at the underground??? is it because there is no screenshot from there?? if that is the case ok...but otherwise i will just say that that is an underground present in the map..Fate of Ashan
