Farmers of hate eternal!

Im not sure that this one is correct though:
According to Jolly Joker, Red Haven units are alternative Haven upgrades. They are rebellious units who chose to fight the demon army by themselves.
They sound to me like they are allied with the demons, not fighting them.

This is shnaiz :) But im confused, now we get another set of upg for the haven? 2 upg per tier, Am I dreaming? But there one thing I cant accept calling a wingless draconian for dragon is outrageous, dont they care for draconic anatomy etc at all? >_<

No,its not two upgrades per tier, its two haven towns. One has one set of upgrades, the other has the other set,but both share the same basic units.

Dwarves don't like dragons, are they? (Think on J.R.R. Tolkien's books, they hunted for dragons... and fighted against them)

I hope that Runemagic will be a great skill and interesting to use...

I think those Renegades will be neutrals only, perhaps they'll have map dwellings.

i can't imagine dwarves as magic users. magic blockers like from h3 i can accept, but not this. though they say rune magic will different from normal magic(probably it will use resources), i still can't imagine a dwarf casting armageddon.

the wolves abilities seem a bit too powerful for a creature of their size. i hope they will have puny stats to compensate for the abilities. if they have more than 30 hp, they will be comparable to a 5th level creature upgrade.

Why not?I had a dwarven mage in NWN(inspired by drognan :D ).Besides, dwarves are known for using runes very often,so its nothing new.

Fortress?! Poor Zalmoxis, his swamp towns return seem less and less likely.

Speaking of map dwellings, they should really return, I would like to hire tons of wolves, they looks great! I guess they are tier 3. Now wheres my werewolves? :p

But about the big dude in on the pack, is that a brawler/berserker or is it a fire mage? For me he looks like an giant, his basic name could at least be that, since he undoubtly are taller than hmm. a human squire.

I think the big guy is the Thane or Stormlord as it is the only other "large" unit in the Dwarven line up.

In which case am i to assume the lava dragon and upgrade are not large creatures?? this could make some interesting tactics availiable... and also be annoying as they would be the only level 7 that isnt large...

They could call Cleave - Strike Twice instead. I mean the creature that have cleave will probably in 90% of cases attack twice. It will not only if it is attacking 7th level unit or its own stack is way too small (like 1-5...).

MAny of these abilities are insanely cool. Many new tactics here, small changes and it will be worth every penny, as long as it is priced below 37$

I think it looks awesome and that the name Hammers of Fate is pretty good. This also explains why there are pictures of red angels on some various HOMMV websites.

that giant dwarf looks funny... i mean dwarf basically means he is a small man, but a giant dwarf? a centaur would have been better. otherwise, mammoths and bears are cool and the rest is fine too.

In its original meaning, yes. But here,as in many other fantasies,it is just a name for a race.

Basically it means we will have two havens, differing only by its upgraded units(and maybe the spells they get and heroes racial, but I doubt that).

Seems like a worthy and long awaited upgrade. A few more addons like this and the entire gameplay and hours playable will be lifted. Seems like ubisoft are taking they're first go at HOMM seriously, lets just hope they fix more bugs this time round....
