Nimus did not get a pre-set level and skills on the next map for me. He retained the skills and level he had at the end of this map. Therefore I recommend choosing Logistics as this walkthrough says, but to also level up Nimbus before completing the map. When you eventually run out of enemies and treasure chests, you can always wait for Month of the [whatever] to get some new enemies to get experience from. Save the Tree of Wisdom for last.

[Grail Quest]

Despite what the campaign information says, only Nimbus and SIX heroes transferred. The next map randomly generated a new hero.
