Dungeon Line-up Vote

Unread postby Kalah » 01 Nov 2014, 12:33

The official blog has announced the choices for the Dungeon lineup, after the faction won over Inferno in the faction vote earlier this week. The vote will happen in two stages - first a week's vote to eliminate the least popular choice, then another vote to decide which of the two most popular line-ups end up in the final game. No matter what you choose, the good news (or bad, depending on your personal preference) is that Minotaurs, Black Dragons and Hydras will all be in the game.

The Dungeon line-up vote can be found here. Go to the blog for more information and to participate in the voting process.

The choices are:

"The Blade from the Shadows"

"Malassa's Thousand Faces"

"The Shield of Darkness"

Voted for Shield. Dunno why, it won't make any difference. :D

That's why I stopped bothering and embraced fatalism. We are all doomed ... ;-)

Hydra, Shield ... are they hinting at some kind of crossover universe? Powers of Ashan vs Marvel Avengers. Ironman would be a nice Forge Hero ...

Hmm, Dungeon gets two phases of votes...

Why not Sylvan too? Just do a second vote as continuation of the first...

36-33-31! Still all to play for with only one day voting time left! :-D

I chose blade, even though "Shadow Unicorn" sounds silly. I like the idea of a sneaky, skulking in the shadows type faction.

After seeing the unit concept arts, I have to say that with the exception of the boring dark elf units, the dungeon lineup looks awesome.

I really like Medusas, the Faceless and the Troglodytes!
And with the passing of strange eons, even death may die.

Woah, 35,33,32; the closest vote ever. Panda might not be a loser any more.

Don't worry Kalah, that archer guy says that's not actual art for H7. But they should have had the Cabir deliver the news.

I have never liked troglodytes as a unit in any Heroes game, actually ... but that's just my personal preference. I think the dark elves here should be sneaky and stealthy.

The only H7 art is that of the Cave Hydra.

And Shield is ahead from Thousand blank faces. Strange this recover, so suddenly, so out of the blue ... ;|

And fortunately, it has no legs. :)

I think the trogs fit the faction well. It has that underground dirtbag faction vibe, although it's juxtaposed by a huge eyeball beholder.

I looking forward to shield or face taking this just so I can see what the strider unit will look like, but let's go shield because it has fewest elf units. :proud:

Wait the upgraded version, with legs, 8 arms and a hunchback. :shh:

That may well be the case. Didn't recognize that. I got stuck early in H6 and never played it again since then. My copy of the expansion is even still wrapped.

Hydra looks very mean.
