I think that's a great idea cause I've been watching this game for a long time now and most of the time I've no idea what game the riddles are about. Maybe someone could insert new rules here. Like if the game's stalling to much then someone else can post a new riddle ;)

You do know, that you don't have to turn every single game into a high speed spamming game, right? ;|

That said, this game has slowed down A LOT, methinkgs we need more clues.

How about a rule that a hint should be given every two days?

I told you lot a while ago you get a hint every three guesses. Not my fault you’ve been complaining about the stall instead of guessing.

And vhilhu, there is only so many times one can make riddles about resources and dwellings. Compared to HoMM, MM has a lot more plot-wise and people-wise, and very few people pay much attention to the plot of HoMM anyway.

Agree, that would be wise.

I know I know..it's just that this game was in hiatus for a long time.
This entire forum is just getting more and more empty and I thought maybe the games could keep people here some more.

Sorry, :offtopic: ;) Will speak my mind somewhere else.. :)

What's the difference with someone making a hardcore riddle and spamming by replying No everytime?

Not Albert Newton (though he does fit surprisingly well!), but very, very close… You definitely seem to have the right idea Marzhin.

I like the slower pace of this game, compared to others like Caladont.
Besides, you can't claim that answering to guesses is spamming.

Another way-off guess: Loretta Fleise?
(at least that should give another hint) ;|

No, but he is a High Council member, and IIRC he and Loretta share parts of a quest.

Ack, I can't remember the names of the others (or guess how they are supposed to be the answer to the riddle.) It can't be the traitor, (Slick somethingtongue ?) who doesn't vote for you when he should ? (That would answer the "contradiction" part of the riddle, but...)

:?? Allow me to clarify: Actual High Council, not their representatives. Does that help?

Lord Anthony Stone is correct! :-D . Allow me to elaborate:

An odd contradiction—High Priest of the Realm and overseer of the official Thieves’ Guild
With half equation fiction—there are Clerics, but no Thief class in MMVI; that didn’t get added until MM7 (or alternatively was taken out after MM5, take your pick)
Unbounded generosity grants—when Loretta Fleise dumps your party off on him and leaves him with the job of paying you, he does so with only a bit of complaining.

Not where you’d look—his castle is on the Frozen Highlands map, not in Free Haven where by all rights it should be.
Return what was took—the Chalice you have to get back from the Temple of the Sun for the temple you helped rebuild in Free Haven.
Right now for instance—This is a quote. When asked about your second promotion, Lord Stone mentions that most people don’t get promoted to High Priest right after Priest, some even die and are granted the title post-humously, but if you were to do something very special he might consider moving your promotion up to…”right now for instance.”

Your turn. :)

Not what I was thinking, but it does fit. The problem is, however, that several things fit this riddle. Every piece of it. Should I continue until I get the desired answer, or give it up now?
